Conversations on Spiritual Experience

Spiritual experiences are often treated as separate from ordinary life.

I do not see them that way.

Let's talk about what we have experienced, and create something new.

There are experiences we have that do not easily fit into the context around us.

These experiences may be profound, subtle, disorienting, or quietly life-altering.
They may come in moments of illness, love, grief, solitude, or ordinary days.

And often, we don't talk about them.

Or if we do, we explain them away, elevate them beyond reach, or set them aside as something separate from the rest of our lives.

I am interested in something else.

I am interested in how these experiences find a natural place in a human life.
How we understand them, and how we integrate them.

This project began long before I had language for it--but decades ago, I knew I needed it.
It comes from my own early "spiritual" experiences, and from decades of accompanying others through moments that do not fit neatly into categories of religion, psychology, or culture.

This progect and these conversations are a space to speak about spiritual experience without exaggeration, dismissal, or performance.

Not to make them more extraordinary.
But to understand how they belong and are essential to who we are as embodied beings.

WHAT THIS IS

Each conversation is a one-on-one, recorded dialogue.

We begin with your experience—whatever feels most true to name.
From there, we move slowly.

We explore:

  • What happened, in your own words

  • How you understood what happened

  • How it has (or has not) found a place in your life

  • Where there may still be uncertainty, tension, or wondering

This is not an interview in the traditional sense.
There is no pressure to perform, explain, or conclude.

It is a space of reflection, allowing, and attention to what is present.

The intention is not to define your experience for you,
but to support your own understanding of it.

What we really are about is creating community for sharing our lived experiences.

WHAT IT IS NOT

It is not about spectacle, persuasion, or teaching.

It is not a platform for proving or validating beliefs.

This is not therapy.

And it is not about elevating certain experiences above others.

PARTICIPATION

If you have had an experience that you would like to explore in this way,

you are welcome to reach out.

You do not need to have language for it, or know what it “means.”

A brief description is enough.

From there, we will determine together whether it feels like a good fit for a recorded conversation.

You can view conversations on my Primordial Love YouTube Channel.

There are many experiences that do not have a place to be spoken.

This is a place they can be.
